Gardner releases precipitation and snowfall data for select counties in CD 4

COLO. – Congressman Cory Gardner (CO-04) released data on precipitation and snowfall for select counties in his district and released the following statement on the need for more water storage:

“Recent spring storms have helped restore some areas in Colorado to near average level snow packs, but just one month ago no one could have forecast that would be the case.  Other areas, particularly southeast Colorado, continue to suffer. The erratic moisture levels in Colorado and the severe drought conditions that we periodically face reinforce the need for more water storage.  We must be able to ensure that we’re storing water during wet years, so we can sustain our growing communities and agriculture during dry times.”

Congressman Gardner is a member in the U.S. House of Representatives serving Colorado's 4th Congressional District. He sits on the Energy and Commerce Committee and is a member of the following Subcommittees: Communications and Technology, Energy and Power, and Oversight and Investigations.
